Lucas Catton in his own words

Here are but a few of Lucas Catton’s heartfelt views on how Narconon saved his life and those of tens of thousands of others.

These reflections and statements are from both his early days when he first started the Narconon program as a suicidal, alcoholic and drug addict individual who was certain death lay in waiting for him and latter periods of his life when at Narconon.

Twelve years later, he is attacking the very organization that saved his life. Whatever his reason and agenda, his own words belie it all.

Note: The following passages are in Lucas Catton’s own hand. He gave signed permission to publish these thoughts and reflections:

“I’ve been saying how happy I am, but until today I haven’t really realized what true happiness is. Everything is coming together day-by-day and it’s not a roller coaster any more, it truly is a rocket ride…I can’t say enough about how thankful and appreciative I am. Thank you.”

“I really can’t say enough about this program. It has helped me through—the students, staff and tech to achieve a happiness that I’d yet to experience…I recommend it to anybody and everybody!”
— Luke Catton, 15 Oct, 1998

“I am slowly but surely working [sic] my way out of the mess I delt [sic] myself. It feels good to be sober again.”
— Luke Catton, August, 1999

“I have certainty and confidence. I have no doubts whatsoever that with the application of this technology I will lead a clean, productive and happy life! Thank you!”
— Luke Catton, 31 August, 1999

“I know that I am in complete control of my life and that I will stay on this path. This just feels right! I love it!”
— Luke Catton, March, 2000

“I came to Narconon Arrowhead six years ago hopeless and desperate after nearly dying because of my addiction. I was tired of running, going to jail, lying and stealing. I felt like giving up, but deep down I knew that I was a good person and there had to be a way out.

“What I got out of the program was a tremendous amount of relief and a restored confidence in myself and my abilities. For the first time in many years I learnt how to live a productive life and be ethical and happy and things just keep getting better for me. I have repaired broken relationships with my family and built news ones with people who care for me and want to see me do well in life and help others….I can honestly say that I would not be in the situation I am in today if it weren’t for Narconon Arrowhead and the life-saving technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard.”
